Dallas County Water Quality Program

The water quality program in Dallas County is a cooperative effort between the Environmental Health Department, Dallas County Conservation, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and the Raccoon River Watershed Program. Water samples will be collected from selected sites and analyzed by the Des Moines Waterworks Department.

The goal of the program is to implement a method to qualitatively assess and monitor the environmental condition of Dallas County through water quality monitoring and landscape resource analysis.
