Meetings
- Seasonal Volunteer Staff Meetings
- Volunteers will be notified of Volunteer Staff meetings. One
is held each season: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. This is
a social time to recognize volunteers for their service, share
ideas, and to receive input and criticism of the volunteer and
conservation program. Help us be our best.
- Monthly Staff Meetings
- The first Wednesday of each month is set aside for the paid
staff to hold a meeting and all volunteers are most welcome to
attend. Please call first to make sure of the time and location.
Volunteers are conservation staff!
- Monthly Board Meetings
- On the second Tuesday of each month, the Dallas Conservation
Board meeting is held. The Board is made up of volunteers appointed
by the Dallas County Board of Supervisors. The meetings are open
to the public and are typically held at Forest Park Museum, 1477
K Avenue, Perry, IA 50220 at 7:30 PM. Please call to confirm time
and location.
- Annual Dallas County Conservation Foundation
Board Meeting
- The Dallas County Conservation Foundation Board is a volunteer
group classified as a non-profit organization and usually meets
in December of each year. The Foundation supports the county department
projects and programs such as land acquisitions, youth volunteer
program, restoration projects and historic preservation projects.
